My mum worked in the McIndoe ward of the Queen Vic in EG (Burns and Plastics unit). Amazing some of the stories she would come up with. The'd get patients from all over the world as really cutting edge stuff.

Its OK - One of my late fathers customers when he was selling British Leyland rubbish was a Guinea Pig and I was rightly cuffed for staring at him when he came in to pick up his new car in the mid 1970's

A Lancaster Pilot who crash landed back in the UK and was trapped in his cockpit while it went up in flames.

A perfect gent as far as I can remember.
