Nigella Lawson caused quite a stir in social media today by claiming the perfect toast should be buttered TWICE and with salt.



She received quite a lot of nasty abuse for this claim, but what is your favourite thing to put on toast?

That old psychology test trick again - cah!

The list has jam twice and marmite twice. You see only one or the other depending on whether you have a sweet tooth of cheeky savoury. This is a NSC tooth test, done under almost laboratory conditions.

Every morning, without fail two slices of my own bread. The first with peanut butter and banana, the 2nd with butter and marmalade. Oh and two mugs of tea, the best start to a day I've ever had.

Or both .


If I fancy fruity, I like the bitterest, rindiest marmalade I can find. Lidl do quite a good one or I get some from a company online who do sort of extreme flavoured food.
