By way of alleviating some of the doom and gloom around lockdown what with no football and no pubs etc.etc.etc I thought it might be a good idea if we shared some of our favourite comedy moments with each other. Everyone's tastes vary of course and what makes one person laugh may make another cry but I'm sure there are a lot of comedy gems just waiting to be shared. You beat me to it - after all these years, Basil's sledgehammer sarcasm in this sketch still cracks me up.

For me, this is the most hilarious three minutes of comedy ever.
