Jeremy Corbyn has been reinstated to the Labour party after a 19-day suspension, a move that could smooth Keir Starmer’s efforts towards party unity but is likely to provoke a backlash from Jewish groups.

A panel from the party’s governing body is understood to have agreed to lift Corbyn’s suspension, though the former Labour leader is yet to receive any formal notification or conditions attached."

Starmer will be fuming and rightly so. Like Trump, Corbyn has obviously installed his own people into powerful places within the party whom could influence them for years. Looks like Starmer has a bigger job than I first thought of getting the party as electable as he is. Mind you, if Johnson is still PM in 4 years time, it won’t really matter what the Labour Party looks like or who is in charge, they’ll be in Downing Street.

In my opinion the Jewish Community will not let this lie. I can see a massive backlash.

Maybe one or two Jewish Labour MP'S will resign.

For the record, I think it was right to reinstate Mr Corbyn.

Disagree.

As much as I would love a Starmer-led Labour Government, Corbyn saw Labour to their biggest election defeat since 1935. It'd take a swing bigger than Blair '97 to stand a chance. Even forming a coalition with the Lib Dems is unlikely.

For the record I think it was very wrong to re admit him , with all the trouble he has caused over the last 18 months .

Sadly Labour is still full of extreme socialist worker types who hate Jews and use Israel as a convenient excuse to vent their anti Jewish credentials and these people view Corbyn as their messiah.

He retracted his dumb kneejerk statement after the independent report proved antisemitism not acted upon.

Ahead of the meeting on Tuesday, Mr Corbyn - who has been a member of the party for 54 years - released a statement on Facebook, saying concerns over anti-Semitism within Labour are "neither exaggerated nor overstated".

It’s not a false dichotomy of Jewish versus everyone else viewpoints, that’s a trap antisemites from the far right and far left would love us to fall into in online chatter. Instead it’s decent people of any background, versus antisemites, all racists and their apologists.

Corbyn it seems now realises that.

The anti-Semitism bullsh*t with Corbyn has always been bullsh*t - Corbyn has been neutered and that is why the suspension has been lifted. He should quietly swan off into retirement because he is no longer of any use to the left. As for Starmer - the Blairite witch hunt against the left will continue - many more will be expelled and thousands of members will continue to leave. The loss in LP membership since the coup against Corbyn is now topping 100,000 and will continue unabated - the vast majority of working class people have no interest in mobilising for a second string pale pink Tory party.

We desperately need a fully functioning, credible and electable labour party and the cumulative effect of the last few years has hit home to me that I really want Starmer to succeed. This isn't great, but he has, say, three years to sort out the mess for a run at government so a long way to go

Kier is hardly a Tory light , have you looked into his voting history & views. But yes you are right he is not an extreme lefty who prefers the company of Putin , various South American dictators & assorted terrorist groups . The country including the majority working class rejected heavily that type of labour leader even preferring daft Johnson to the Corbyn option . That should tell you something .

I'm pretty certain Corbyn was protesting against the South American dictator and mass murderer while the Tories and Thatcher welcomed him, and Johnson is sitting on a report on Russian interference and made terrorist sympathiser Claire Fox a peet

Bloody annoying to say the least, this won't stop me from voting for Kier and the Labour Party, as I really like him as leader.

However, resinstating that bloody idiot is such a stupid decision. Everyone knows that Labour lost a hell of a lot of popularity because of his weak politics, controversial links, dickhead brother (LOL) and to deep into the left policies.

His aides within the party seem to be too far left and everyone is fed up of that, we need a strong opposition to the Tories who represent the left but with a centre left manifesto and I'm sure Kier is the man for that, hence it was right to kick out Corbyn for being an idiot and not properly addressing the problem of anti-semitism.

I just hope this doesn't affect their chances in the elections.

Makes you wonder just as the Tories are ripping themselves apart over the Cummings, Cain & Symonds goonfest the Labour Party spring this cluster**** to alleviate some of the government’s limelight.
