What a treat. Steve McQueen is just a stunning director, see Hunger, Shame, Twelve Years of Slave as three examples.
The first episode, Mangrove, didn't disappoint.

Well this is well worth a :bounce:

We're a little behind, but saw the third episode last night, entitled 'Red, White & Blue'. Just a stunning piece of work, and a suitable distraction from thinking about that performance earlier in the day. This is landmark TV that will be talked about for decades. Congrats to the BBC for being bold, and commissioning a great artist and one of the world's greatest living filmmakers.
