I thought we could mark such an auspicious date by looking at what else took 2 (ish) years to build:-



Obviously if 'dubious' labour laws aren't your thing, let's head across the pond:-



They don't all have to be stadiums:-


(Having been there done that, I can categorically state - this was well worth the wait)

Tough to put a date on this one but:-


we know it wasn't built in a day.

What if the contractors agreed to transport all raw materials by bike, would the project get the Stat seal of approval, even if it took 10 years?

Unfortunately Leeds already have 1 stand and 3 cowsheds, so NSC can't poke fun at our new rival.
For this palace will just have to do.

I had a job, a girlfriend and a fresh new apartment (with multiple functional light bulbs) when they started building their new stand.

Its a long, long time ago.
