Brighton SeaLife centre has an offer of entry for 1p.
The terms and conditions state it's only available to those camping or dressed as a dolphin.

So for all in tents and porpoises it's free.

Surely the Ts and Cs should state dressed as a Porpoise and not a Dolphin?

Last time I went there it was rubbish and demanded a refund. It cost me six squid to get in and it wasn't fit for porpoise!

You take your tent on a trip to an aquatic wonderland?

What with searches and social distancing (it's not even essential) the experience of carrying a tent, continually bumping in to idiots dressed as marine mammals does not appeal one bit.

Yurtaking the p1ss.

Even with the slightly bizarre fancy dress requirements, it's an excellent offer.

If people are going to blubber about it, they should go elsewhere.

Not only do you need to take your tent, apparently you need to be in it. How would you see your way around - unless you cut a hole in the top and treat it like a poncho. But then the rain will come in...

Porpoises are not dolphins, so the staff at the Sea Life Centre might need training in telling the difference if Porpoises are going to go down the fraud route.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
I designed the gardens which lead down the steps at the Brighton Sea Life Centre. That was 35 years' ago. No joke!
