A great talent. He popped up in so many films and series.
His high point will always be Stella Street. That was an utter triumph.
RIP JS

I was only watching some early episodes of Whoose Line the other day, where the episodes that Sessions was in, he dominanted with his quick wit and range of voices.

RIP

David Brent had it right: If you were to ask me to name three geniuses, I probably wouldn't say Einstein, Newton... [struggles for word] . I'd go Milligan, Cleese, Everett. Sessions.

R.I.P. John - a comic genius.

Stella Street was something else. It didn't get the attention it deserved. Then again, maybe that was for the best. A tip of the hat to Phil Cornwell too. John Sessions(Marshall) was a true talent.

Very sad, loved the one man series he did back in the Late 80's early 90's (John Sessions/Tall Tales/Likely Stories) they were brilliant, he was a really great story teller. He was excellent playing Arthur Lowe in the BBC drama 'We're Doomed! The Dads Army Story', in fact I didn't realise it was him for the first 5 mins.
Worryingly he was the same age as me!
