His professional career has been something else. To have played the amount of games he did, at the level he did too. Together with Gary Neville they seem to be quite astute businessman too.
On a personal level, it does seem he's s bit of a scumbag, however.

Suspected until proved innocent is, I think the norm. The CPS, and then the courts will decide. In the interim, usually either held in custody or on bail. Guess he's somewhere in that process now.
