Some music's a reaction to your family, but some of it bonds generations. Post a song that you love that was:

Shared with you by a loved one from a previous generation of your family or older sibling, or;
That you have passed down to your younger sibling, kids or grandchildren, or
That younger family members gifted you;
Or some, or all of the above.

For example:

Thanks for this Dad:

Cheers to my brother for this:

Here's one I played it in the car and my kids now love:

And one they gave me in return:

Not as song as such but the three artists that run through our family are The Beatles, Blondie and The Kinks.

Apologies for showing off but two tracks my family were involved in making

Which led to me passing this onto my hip hop loving teenage son

And my life wouldn't have been the same in my twenties without my brother ramming this dowm my throat

My first recollection of pop music rather than musicals that my parents were into when I was a young kid. Probably on two way family favourites :smile:

Grew up listening to this thanks to my parents.

Judith Durham's voice is magnificent.
