What content management system does your website use? Is it an off the shelf system where you enter the property details? Or did someone custom write the whole thing?

No idea, website construction is a closed book to me. But I do know it's based around Wordpress

Have you got a page that just has a list of all the properties on sale?

I see there is https://extremacasa.com/properties/ but that is a search page. Clicking on a property and they are in https://extremacasa.com/property/* but that directory doesn't have an index.

Basically if you have a page that lists all the properties currently on your books just add /feed on the end and that is your xml. If you don't have a page that has all the properties then you won't have a nice and easy xml.

Sorry, you lost me. I don't for one minute dispute what you say as you clearly know far more about this than I do (as do most other people!) but if it's that straight forward how come a company have just quoted me 175 euros to produce a feed?

Plumbers quote me £95 just to arrive at my house.

I need an XML feed for my website www.extremacasa.com to save me uploading properties manually to portals. Can anyone help with this?

I'll need some more website and database work at some point but first I need to get the XML feed sorted. Can anyone help with this?

Have these portals told you to use XML over say JSON? Do they provide a schema for you to work with?

The portal I want to advertise on wanted XML feed and said they couldn't create one for me but gave me the name of a company that would. Ive never heard of JSON. Mid you, Ive only just heard of XML :dunce:

Well as it's built with Wordpress one of the quickest ways is to install an SEO plugin that will take care of it. I'd recommend SEOPress which will generate one for you. Others will do the same but I find that one to be the most effective overall for any search optimisation work.
