It's an oldie, but a goodie.

No footie (of consequence) and 'Old Toy's' has remained niche we might as well open it up.

Gonna instantly take a favourite out of the running

Star wars. I used to get 20p a day pocket money for sweets or if I went all week without sweets I could have a Star wars figure.

A Chad Valley teddy bear, owned by me from the age dot (until stolen in storage in the mid 90’s ).

Toy farms and zoos ... I remember occasional trips to Gamley’s to add bits.

A castle .... I have a cute photo of me playing with it on Christmas Day 1969.

Lego. I got secondhand pieces from my older brother’s mate.

Annuals, Guinness Book of Records, loads of other books.

The game Haunted House.

Later on: Airfix models, a Hornby train set.

[great thread idea btw Stat Brother]

Star Wars Figures.(lots of Star Wars Figures)
Victor Annuals.(hammer man,morgan the mighty,Alf Tupper,cadman,true stories of men at war.all brilliant.)
Action Man in SAS clobber.(looked the business with gas mask, body armour and MP5).
Mitre delta 2000 football(I loved that football like Tom hanks loved his wilson).
Raleigh Grifter(gripshift gears, held the record for longest skidmark down our road for one whole Saturday and I also converted it into a 1000cc motorbike with the then standard upgrade kit of a playing card in the rear spokes which sounded awesome).
Great memories!!!

I had about 200 of these miniature cowboy and indian figures which I spent ages patiently setting up into a giant battle scene and once they were all set up I proceeded to knock each one over one by one as they were killed in battle. Great fun. I still have them but not played with for a while.

I have a wooden construction kit that was similar to meccano. I see Brio, but I seem to remember it sounded something similar to that

Bilofix?

Nowhere near as good as Meccano or Lego imo.

Best toy has to be a ball.

Favourite toy was my teddy bear until bikes came along, I spent more time on my bike than playing with any other toy and it helped get to see mates and do my paper round.

I loved this stuff!

I managed to get hold of a set 2 years ago off ebay and gave it to my son for Xmas...

"Dad, this is a bit rubbish"

Ungrateful shit.

Lego. I loved building fun fairs and would spend hours building them/packing them up and driving them around my bedroom.

I used to have Loan Ranger with Tonto, several action men inc Six Million Dollarman and an array of Little Big Men all scrapping it out in a Royal Rumble sort of way before Royal Rumble was even a thing.
