Scotland v Slovakia is the big one - didn’t realise they still had a team, but the nations league is made to give failure countries the feel of a major tourno I guess

Mexico beats Netherlands 1-0, Veltman played the whole second half coming on for de vrij. Not exactly sure how he did

Jensen Weir and Haydon Roberts are in the England U-19 squad for two friendly matches against Scotland at St George's Park. The first was scheduled for today - England were leading 3-1 at half-time when the match was abandoned as a Covid-19 positive test result of a member of the backroom staff was revealed during the first-half.

The second game is scheduled for Sunday.

Not sure if either of Albion's lads were in the starting line-up.

Trossard on the bench for Belgium - disappointed he isn’t in the XI looking at their lineup and seeing how it’s mostly their reserves.

Late Covid drama for Ireland as Aaron Connolly and Adam Idah ruled out of crunch playoff

..Aaron Connolly and Adam Idah were dramatically ruled out of Ireland's Euro 2020 playoff with Slovakia at the last minute after it emerged that a second FAI staff member had tested positive for Covid-19.

Independent.ie understands that Connolly and Idah are out of the fixture because they are deemed to be close contacts of the individual in question and have not travelled to the match venue. ..
