What's your preference? Waitrose Tawny Port (very sweet) is my current favourite. 3/4 of a bottle this evening, and I've got the grammar / spelling police after me already. It's mega yummy !

I agree, port is a wonderful drink. There are few that I haven't really enjoyed, but it's like wine,...you pays your money.
I drink the Waitrose Ruby own brand at under 8 quid, because I find that under about 30 quid, the difference is marginal, and it is a delight.
If you ever get the chance visit Oporto....lovely city, with all the Port warehouses stacked up the valley on the opposite side of the river, with all the famous marques you can read easily right up the hill, for miles
Try the white...I've got a bottle in the fridge now, ...a joy with tonic.

I drink very moderately (now), but I was aware of that reputation, I think it takes years of real effort, though, at maybe 3/4 a bottle a night.
