Lost their way a bit haven't they? Just report anything from the papers, tend to have no real sources and usually the last to break actual transfer news. Remember when they got Zaha to Arsenal very wrong and when they stated we had signed Dembele from Celtic which we hadn't. Just seen they've jumped on Lamptey to Bayern Munich and Dan James to Brighton it's like they're desperate to make a transfer story despite the likelihood of the transfers actually happening being very low. Sancho to United another one they've carried through the entire window despite Dortmund very early on saying he's 100% gonna be at Dortmund this season.

Steve Parrish even told them off the other day for the Brewster rumour claiming fees had been agreed and what not. They are becoming more and more like the shitmags that create these rumours..

Just watching it now.....they don’t seem to have any sources at all. Just quoting what they’ve seen on twitter etc and supplementing it with ‘expert’ views. They’re even implying the Lamptey to Bayern guff is worthy of discussion

Tbh I've always thought SSN was just a regurgitation mill of the rags and Twatter.

In fairness, they were pretty good at one point. Seems to have gone downhill recently.

The problem is clubs are letting out less and less confirmed transfer information and agents seem to be leaking less too so it must be a challenge to pick out the wheat from the chaff. That said it has descended into a bit of a nonsense: "Breaking News: Dave in Manchester saw Sancho in a restaurant with Ed Woodward"

I think they should just kill off the transfer centre.

Yes In years gone by if a transfer made Sky it generally happened now days they seem to be quoting 12 year olds posting shite on Twitter.

I think you'll find A: thats the kind of people they emply, and B: they're the only ones watching it. :lolol:

Before the age of twitter they were actually very good especially on deadline day with all the fans outside the stadiums. Now you are completely correct it's embarrassing on their part.

I see Aston Villa have signed Ross Barkley on a season-long loan from Chelsea. DECENT.

There is a limit to the number of luxury players you can have in a team.

I’d like them to start Grealish and Barkley against us because they won’t track back effectively. Should give us a lot of space in the attacking third to play in.

SSN have become like the Argus, they seem to both have some bored teenager taking a break from porn, scrolling through endless football forums, twitter accounts and the like , looking for anything remotely football related, and then it becomes a "Breaking News" story

Completely agree. It's just them saying anything to get people watching all day... just makes me laugh how they speak on behalf of clubs when its all clearly made up!

They spent the first half of the window waffling about Messi to Man City and carried on three weeks after it was known in Spain that it wouldn't happen. It's a laughing stock of a show. I remain to be proved wrong, but they spent 20 minutes yesterday talking about the Sancho non event, as they have done since the Messi story died. Man U playing the deluded Leeds role of not offering the asking price and not accepting No for an answer. The selling club saying we're not selling, you've left it too late. SSN waffling away with knowing gazes at the camera to emphasise their twaddle. No wonder I only take an occasional look. I's really just the Top Six rumours show.

It worries me that they can spout this nonsense and Skybet are allowed to take bets on it, surely a conflict of interest there?

Charlatans defrauding fools? A match made in heaven as far as I'm concerned

Anyway, have we singed that big centre forward yet, and when's Lamps off to Germany?

I used to work with one of SSN's transfer 'experts'. He got sacked for making up a story that got us a legal letter from the club concerned.

According to Shteve the brolly-man, Lamptey should shtick with us to play firsht team football, which he might not get at Bayern, and then be able to get in the Chelsea firsht team next season ......................
