When I watched the first one, I did think (in addition to "bloody hell, that's brilliant") that it was a shame he didn't flip it back to the fielder behind for the catch...

its getting to the point that even when the ball drifts beyond the boundary its not without risk,

going large was always risky but batsmen often breathed s sigh of relief once they were sure it would carry over the rope. Now you literally have to wait for it to hit the ground.

That is incredible.

Saving the 6 is one thing
Getting it to the back up fielder for a catch is incredible
But doing it by flicking the ball around your back whilst in mid-air.

It reminds me of a 6 I once saved.

Sure I wasn't in mid air, I didn't lob the ball back for the catch, nor flick it behind before any part of me touched the ground.


Actually now I think about it, it doesn't remind me of anything I've done, plus I think I was actually playing badminton.
