In the cold light of Monday morning three things stick out for me (apologies if fixtures), we still need a striker, March prefers playing behind closed doors and this is potentially going to be the greatest top flight season in the club's history but none of us are going to be able to go the Amex.

As I said on Saturday, or yesterday . . . Potter earns his crust this week getting and keeping all the heads in the right place to approach Everton in the same frame of mind we were at, say half time on Saturday. . . .
