Although quite clearly a very talented and cultured player I think his game is more suited to the slower pace of The Dutch league, he all to often gets caught in possession and opponents know that. Off to Ajax I imagine.

I think it was obvious he wasn't going to be involved today when he started midweek and Molumby wasn't in the squad.
To me it looks like the rest of the team came back from lockdown up a level.
Davy looked like he went back to Amsterdam just before travel restrictions and couldn't get back.

Yeah I love Propper and think he's much maligned, with much of his intricacies missed.
The Football Focus guys were talking about the 'mouse trap - snap' to Lamptey's game.
It's quite a nice analogy and one that can be applied throughout the team.
Esp to Propper, he just doesn't have Alzate or Bissouma's bite, 'snap'.
Playing in that position with Potter's style of play he really needs it.
