Mate of mine closely connected with Hove RFC has just posted a very moving tribute....seems like he was a real diamond. RIP [emoji3525]

Yeah, he used to coach at Hove before moving to East Grinstead. I didn't know him personally but most of the people at the club did. We're holding a minute's silence for him during training on Sunday

RIP Sgt Ratana

What a terrible crime.
Will America erupt in support?
Will there be a minutes silence at Premier League games?
I don't think so.....
All lives matter.

I’ve played against him on the rugby pitch many many times, hard as nails and a ******* to play against but a real gentleman off the pitch, a real old school player and a genuinely nice guy, a tragic and senseless loss, the whole of Sussex rugby will be mourning him.

lets not turn turn this thread about a tragedy into something else, you obviously dont understand BLM and whats happened but start a new thread to discuss not on here.

Thoughts to Sgt Rattanas family and friends, awful crime

Indeed.

Just been reading about him on the BBC. A tragedy that such a good guy has been taken from us at a relatively young age and sad that quite a few on here will have known or known of him. Let's pay respect in the best way possible which is to stick to tributes to Sgt Rattana on this thread.

RIP. Brave man.

EDIT

Just did my entry. Rather weirdly, you have to tick the box that says you've informed the nominee - that's a bit strange in this case.

Hang on, I'll get the Ouija board
