The Croydon Police Sergeant shot and killed in Croydon police station, was a one time resident of Goring by sea, and a coach at Worthing Rugby club. A migrant from New Zealand, 2 months away from retirement. He was 53 years old.
He had been a Metropolitan Police Officer for nearly 30 years.

RIP, Sergeant. So sad.
