With a heavy heart but he knows what’s what I guess.
Well done Dale.

Will break tomorrow no doubt

They finally get him if this is the case.. Shame as he did well Thurs but think the squad needs trimming a bit and Molumby has prob done enough to impress.

I don't think we would miss him with players like Molumby & Sanders desperate for more game time

How do you know it’s with a heavy heart - have you heard from him directly or someone you know type thing?

We’ve had possibly the best 4 years of Dale’s career since Burnley first came knocking.
Great servant for the club.
We may get a fee too as looking likely Burnley will lose Tarkowski. Burnley looking Like quite an old Squad.

He’s going there to play not make up the numbers but he’s 31. He is sad to be leaving but knows how it works.

Has done a great job for us , but I can’t see him getting as much game time as he’d like so would be a good move for him and us.

If true he's been great for us, real presence in the middle for many a year now. The quality of the youngsters and overall team has just caught up.

Been a brilliant servant for the club.

I'm calling bollox on this.

1) We don't sell to rivals
2) Wouldn't play v Pompey if he was on the move. Good performance too.
3) Will surely be covering for Biss throughout his suspension.

Possibly so, but I expect Molumby or Propper could do that. I do think this makes sense from a financial perspective as Dale has just one more year on his contract and so we won’t get a fee if he doesn’t leave now and I expect he is probably on £45-50k per week and that’s quite a bit for a player who won’t be a first team regular for us.
