Looks like a decent left wing back, had a decent season last year for the geordies but they've just bought in Jamal Lewis.. Seems as if Frankfurt open to selling him might be one we're looking at?

I doubt it to be honest, but Rico Henry ruled out, Danny Rose, Phillip Max, Jamal Lewis, Pervis Estupinan all gone to other clubs don't think there's any other decent left wing backs in our price range out there. Jetro Willems is about as attacking as you can get for a full back in the right system he'd be dynamite.

Did Danny Rose go? Genuinely missed that! Not a Rico Henry fan personally

Rico Henry would be my first choice very similar to Lamptey Rose is off to Genoa I think.

When I've seen RH, he looks good at the attacking bit, not so good defensively. I think he'd get roasted by a few quality right sided PL opposition midfielders/attackers. Lamptey can defend too.

I take your point, Brentford didn't ship too many last year though and his crossing set up a lot of goals, Jetro Willems is very similar in that regard probably more attack minded than Rico Henry. I was quite pleased with how solly played monday to be fair he was quality aside from the crossing.

I don't know why, but "RH" made me think:

With Reguilion going to Spurs. Maybe that will make Sessegnon available, he would suit our system perfectly in my opinion

Danny Rose and Rico Henry have not gone anywhere. Jetro Willems seems to be heading somewhere (to Newcastle it seems as he has said this pretty consistently via his social media)...

Two players better than the ones you’ve listed but very expensive and very unlikely (for us dreamers).

1. Ait Nouri

We could probably pick this teenager up for less than €20m. Angers have replaced the lad and don’t play him any more whilst they wait on his sale. Lamptey level or better:

2. Tagliafico

Ajax want to sell. He is currently doing a Duffy and mucking up any game he is involved in (see recent goal keeper impression) whilst he agitates for a move. Heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea or Leicester all Summer but they both have their left backs now. We’d obviously need to throw Pröpper into the deal and maybe Ali-J to bring down the €40m fee but I’m sure we could pay him roughly what Ajax do in terms of salary.

Edit:

This guy too:

Ait-nouri has been linked with massive clubs, recently City, United and PSG. From that analysis he sounds a bit too good for us and has probably earned a ‘big move’

Tagliafico would be great, if in our price range

Wouldn't look too much into transfer rumours remember Gui Assulin he was linked to everyone and called the next messi ended up with us for a bit. Not good.

Tagliafico one of Ajax's best players would not be cheap. Jahanbaksh and cash to get that one done I think. Mauassa actually a brilliant shout though!!

Danny Rose to Genoa looked to be on, according to sky Rico Henry won't be leaving brentford for anyone nevermind us. Jetro Willems looks to be going back to newcastle but probably won't start over Jamal Lewis.

I wasn’t saying he’s too good for us based on the rumours. I was referring to the article that was linked stating that he’s one of the best young left backs in Europe. If that’s true he’s probably out of our league.

I don’t know much about Mauassa, but he definitely sounds a more realistic potential target.

I hope all three, willems and sessegnon are on our list and are being considered. As much as I like March a specialist LWB would balance the team nicely. It’s a shame about the Ecuadorean, he looked quality.
