Anybody else heard anything about us looking at Pervis Estupiñán? 22 year old Ecuadorean LB at Watford who has spent the last few years on loan in Spain. Fast, great crosser & being scouted by some of the real big guns.

Not in their squad today despite featuring heavily in pre-season.

There appears to have been a Twitter entry 16 hours ago from a South American journalist which has snowballed articles in Spain.

Basically saying Albion are talking to Watford about a total bid of around £12-15m.

Plausible, but could just be a single source rumour.

So he is like Watford’s Ben White. Loaned all over by the Pozzos in order to develop the lad and at 22, ready for the Premier League.

One obvious flaw.

The sting in the tail for them could be a feather in the cap for us.

Brighton of the Premier League and Villarreal of the Spanish League have joined the clubs interested in the Ecuadorian Pervis Estupiñán, who at the moment is part of Watford's planning to face the Championship of England.

According to information from the Spanish media El Periódico Mediterráneo, Villarreal made a first proposal, but it was rejected, while Brighton would offer 12 million euros, plus 3 in variables, for the left side.

would be an excellent buy, seen a fair bit of this fella as I watch a lot of spanish footy, he's quality.

but again it seems like at case of us being willing to pay more but the player preferring elsewhere. comes with the territory, i guess.

The 2 crosses from 1.06 were absolutely sublime. The 3rd one to follow was pretty tasty too. But those 2 crosses would have had Beckham drooling. If we can sign this bloke, I think it'll be almost impossible to cope with the excitement levels of him and Lamptey as our fullbacks.
