Blimey - £180k a week combined for Ali J (no wonder he's happy to stay put), Locadia, Andone, and the injured Izzy.

How much of that is being covered by FC Cincinnati and Galatasaray in Locadia and Andone's cases? (5 year contracts worth £10.5m for each too - ouch!)

Considering Brighton agreed a long loan deal with Cincinnati, I think they are paying 100%. Galatasaray probably paying 0 for Andone as he is no longer on loan there. However he and Izzy are both probably "on loan" to some insurance company.

Interesting that a website seems to know salaries of players when the club don't publish them ( even in annual accounts it's not broken down by player ). Utter guess work and probably, sorry certainly, completely wrong.

These sort of websites crop up all the time with absolutely zero source. Take with a massive pinch of salt.

You can't really call that out, esp not when them up the road are paying just a little less to 1 (one) player, who last season, had a similar output to our 4 (four).

Having worked extensively on HMRC IT systems for many years in the past I can assure you it is very easy for any HMRC employee with access to a couple of specific systems to "look up" a UK tax payer by name and find out their income details.

However, with the use of a new auditing system I implemented a few years back, any unjustified search by such HMRC users will now alert and ultimately cost them their job ....
This was introduced after a handful of HMRC folk were caught looking up details on their neighbours / David Beckham / the Queen to see what they earned [declared] - big brother stuff ....

accountants can usually access accounts from companies house . . . . players business set ups to manage their salaries must make for interesting reading. . . . you can search for directors . . . . It's how I investigated a very dodgy customer last year.

Contracts for DeGea for £100m, DeBruyne for £100m, Ozil £56m, Salah £52m etc etc - Monopoly money (even if they are good players)

Quite, it defies all logic . . . . money won't make them play better. If anything it probably makes most of them worse.

Ahannach who left last season, was not on that amount

Steele, who is a goalkeeping coach and 3rd choice here is not on £16k a week either

Maybe they're annual salaries, which more refelcts performance/value.
