Interesting read in which as many on here will probably agree that EPL2 is on it's way with the Championship salary cap being the tool to do it with. Highlighted is that if the Championship introduces a salary cap of around £18m per season and L1 and 2 go for the suggested £2.5m and £1.5m per season the gap is simply to great to fill by the lower league clubs. Having said that one would imagine that the player wages at well supported clubs like Bradford City,Portsmouth and Sunderland are probably close to a few lower Championship clubs already ?
