I seem to recall us playing Barnsley? in the middle of the miners strike, my dad took us up there.

Anyone else remember ?

The Brighton fans sang:

Donkey Jackets,

...so casual,
.. so casual

..most the game which was obviously a chant of it's time.

I do remember, but it was Huddersfield at the Goldstone that day.

Lots of strike associated songs going both ways !

It is an interesting list of teams interested Athletico, Brighton, Brentford and Bayer. Did the journalist (Ahem) have a list of teams alphabetically and picked from the first few he found?
