Fantastic start from Buttler, and Malan’s doing his best, but pretty poor from everyone else. We’ll be lucky to get 165 at this rate, which is only just competitive.

Feel bad for Malan, he’s a really underrated player and the batting line up are crumbling around him here, not only that but playing so unintelligently, get him on strike FFS, Not sure what the hell Curran was doing.

Surprised they sent Rashid out to bat before Jofra, Rashid is a better batsman but Archer is capable of hitting it bigger. Our bowling line up is good, in with a shout.

I get they’re trying different players but this is exactly why Root should be in the side at 3 to steady the ship. Obviously missing Stokes too who is the 4th seamer and finisher after Morgan. Root is also another spin option. Balance of the side is off today.
