six feet beneath the moon...
Former Chelsea winger of interest, apparently already subject to an offer from Fulham (and interest from CPFC2010 as a Mr Tumble replacement):

Courtesy of Mr Google:

Fulham made an offer, Brighton are thinking about it, Newcastle, Everton and Crystal Palace on the prowl
Still, the profile of Bertrand Traoré, author of 4 goals in all competitions last season with the Gones, including an important goal in the Champions League against Benfica Lisbon in the group stage, is very popular in the Premier League. Brighton is also very interested, but has yet to make an offer. As for Newcastle, Everton and Crystal Palace (who could step into action if Wilfried Zaha leaves), the latter prefer to give each other time. Finally, as a source close to the Foxes told us, Leicester are no longer in the game.

For his part, Bertrand Traoré patiently waits for the situation to settle down and does not relax his efforts in training. Not really in the little papers of Rudi Garcia, the Europa League finalist with Ajax Amsterdam has made a point of himself and sees more and more a future far from Groupama Stadium, with the hoped-for point of fall: the other side of the Channel. It remains to be seen whether OL will be able to lower their expectations, for a player recruited € 9m three seasons ago.

another article here which quotes a €25M asking price:

4 goals, 5 assists from 35 apps in all competitions last season (but only 1 goal and 3 assists in the league)

'Brighton are thinking about it' :lolol:

I think I'll start a convincing looking online page of my own. There is clearly money to be had.

Would be easier to start one thread.

Whatever player you like, think would strengthen us, we need, we're linked with, we've bid on.

Is not signing for Brighton!

Don't think he comes under the category of "need" he probably wouldn't get into our team..

Villa spending alot again, would get messy if they struggle, huge wage bill. Must have alot of strikers now. 13/1 for Dean Smith to be next manager to get sacked

In all honesty, they've kept their best players, added quality around them and not really spent that much. Very comparable outlay to us over the past two summers (around £65/70m). Whilst it would be fun for Villa to be acting like Fulham did, they're actually more akin to us - they'll survive comfortably though, with such a demanding fan base, that may not be enough for Smith to survive another season.

£90m now spent by Villa, in talks with someone from Werder Bremen for another £18m and supposedly not yet made their marquee signing. Looks like they'll be getting pretty close to the £150m they spent last summer, mind blowing sums.

Good job for them there's no FFP anymore.

Wonder if it all will be part-financed by a Grealish sale?
