I've got a chip in my windscreen that I need to get repaired by Tuesday and my insurers can't do it till next week.

Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations ?

You can buy a windscreen repair kit off Amazon or Halfords etc. They come with the injection kit so you get the resin to take into the layers of glass. Pretty poor from your insurers? I had mine done within two days between Christmas and new year.

It is poor, I'll try and claim it back as they couldn't do it in a reasonable timescale (and I have a zero excess on windscreen)
