Brighton & Hove Albion under-23s winger Ryan Longman has joined Sky Bet League One AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old signed a new two-year contract on Monday, having been with the Seagulls since 2012.

Technical Director Dan Ashworth said, “This is a great opportunity for Ryan to test himself at a good level in the EFL. He will learn what is expected in that environment and it’s up to him to use this opportunity to kick on.

“Like all our players going out on loan, we will monitor his development during the season and we wish him all the best.”

He scored one today in a 4-4 thriller.

Yes we know (on some other thread). If only there was some sort of sticky with a thread for each of our loanees so we could easily keep track of them all, and comment/congratulate/rejoice when appropriate!

This is something I like most about the Bloom era. The way he has used the Albion's regional status to build a first class football / sporting academy that is turning out professional footballers at all levels. If only Sussex CCC would link up and do something similar then we might have a half decent cricket team as well.

Oh and good luck to him and Wimbledon. One of the few clubs that had it worse than we did.

He should in the first team next season. At least half-season to show his quality.

Deffo we need some fresh young blood to hound out of the team.

I noticed on the Brentford forum they say Taylor- Richards was recently at one of their matches. Some are hoping he signs for them.

Would be good to see him move up to a competitive Championship club.

If he gets promoted with them we would have a very interesting player indeed.

Without copying and pasting and breaking copyright, can anybody give us a quick run down on what The Athletic predicts for these seven next season?

Why don't you actually pay for a subscription? There are always deals available, I'm currently paying $1 a month.
