I'm not going to take away from the Stokes thing by listing other comebacks - this one is enough for me. Still vividly remember the change in emotions from 'sh1t we've f****** it' to 'we (he) can do this' .Superb stuff, and all the more amazing considering his feats in the World Cup final shortly beforehand!

For all that he was the standout performer in that world cup final, it was a terrific team effort with some vital contributions from the likes of Bairstow, Buttler and Plunkett. That Headingley knock was, as an individual performance, by far the more impressive for my money.

Of course I've had to watch both back in the last few months to make sure...
