Set to be announced tomorrow. Thoughts, predictions?

Call it a hunch, but based on recent comments (and a certain man with a big forehead being arrested) I think there’s a very real chance for our own Lewis to be, rightfully, called up for his country again.

I wonder if it’s too soon for a Lamptey or Webster to get a chance?

Unfortunately for Lamptey I can think of four better England qualified right backs without even pausing for air.

Dunk may be in with a shout though.

Dunk a shoe in for slabhead. Confidence high after a good season and new contract, openly touting himself to Southgate with his comments following Slabbys Greek misdemeanours. Watch this space...

With Slabhead in the docks, perhaps it's Lewis' best chance for a second cap.

Feel that playing Chelsea on the Monday night instead of the Saturday probably leaves enough time for a full recovery.

Prediction is no Albion players selected. 50% on here outraged, 50% happy there's no risk to them getting injured.

I predict "Michael bloody Keane!!!!" will be posted on here at least 7 times tomorrow

Dunk SHOULD definitely be in, there's absolutely no doubt about it. In my opinion, aside from Maguire he is the best English centre back we have. He probably won't be picked though.

I read something yesterday that said due to the amount of football the experienced players have played recently that Southgate may throw in a few youngsters so I fully expect to see some untried 21 year olds from Chelsea and Man Utd picked along with Keane, Stones and Gomez ahead of Dunk.

Are you sure though? There are clearly better defenders than Lewis Dunk. What about Ben Mee? joke

Don't be surprised to see White called up. Southgate loves hype and loves youth.

Keane is the one that baffles me. I think you'd struggle to find a single neutral fan who would rather Keane ahead of Dunk. Lewis is a far better defender, in every aspect.

What did Dunk say about Maquire? I missed that.

Dunk definitely has a chance.

Webster & Lamptey? Almost certainly not. Whilst I like them both, Webster is a while before a call-up I feel and as Guinness Boy says, there's a queue for the RB spot. Alexander-Arnold/Wan-Bissaka are shoe-ins and Reece James is (wrongly) ahead of Tariq.

Walker is too and Trippier's just played in a Champions' League QF.

We have a ridiculous amount of right backs.

Was actually going to carry on the joke and claim that as the Champions of Europe, Leeds' Ben White should be in the squad. If he starts regularly for us next season then there's no doubt at all Southgate will come sniffing round.

Nah - Ben's lost his chance now he's been cruelly prevented from remaining with a big club.

I just wonder if Tariq sees his future playing further forward because of this

I thought i read somewhere that Southgate might not pick from the teams that were still in the CL after the break to give them a rest, which would enhance Dunks chance further.
