Reading this morning that Newcastle are looking at Ryan Sessengon.

Obviously moved to spurs a year ago for £24m but doesn’t seem to part of the plan having only made 6 appearances last season (haven’t checked injury record)

Would see him fitting into our system in the same way as Lamptey.

I reckon £18m+ with additions would be enough if he was formally available.

Thoughts?

Yes from me too. Quality player and would be a great addition. Flexibility to play all through the left side will be invaluable in Potter's system

Surely would likely be a loan. He's had a horrific time injury wise since moving to Spurs. Mourinho likes him and there is talk about a loan return to Fulham now they've gone up.

An absolute coup if we got him at all. Quality player and still so young he wouldn't count towards out 25 man squad.

I'd rather we had him than Jose, for the sake of the lad.

Perhaps Ryan should wait for Elsa to chose his new club then follow him there.

As an additional consideration Would Danny Rose (30), give us more than we currently have?

Could be a loan with an option to buy, all be it we would respect the no option to buy if spurs wanted to keep him.

Maybe a couple of years ago but seems to have lost his way a bit and I know he has had some mental health struggles but coupled with his age not sure he gives us enough extra.

Would be a very nice addition though pretty sure they are not selling him and I'm far less horny about a loan deal.

If it gets to January and they are still not playing him, that's when there might be a chance to swoop.

Absolutely. If we can get him and he forms a decent partnership with White we could become a much more interesting prospect for Mr Southgate to bother coming and seeing us.

Again, wages. The lad is on more than £60K a week. He also cost Spurs £25 mill.

If that’s true that’s do-able I’d say.

Yes from me - naturally left sided isn’t he?
