all of our irish players need a move to get first team footie cos, errr, for the benefit of the nation, and that

Nope - just Duffy - I think Connolly and Molumby will do just fine where they are.

Duffy is clearly not in the frame with Potter - what is the point in the club paying his wages to sit on the bench when they can get some money for him and use it to bring in other players.

How un-socialist. Thought you'd be very much in favour of giving Duffy handouts to sit on his arse and not work :moo:

I think that's fairly obvious (not being in the frame with Potter), but only a fool sells their assets below market price.
The market place for any item is where a lot of money can be made or lost depending on how much you buy and sell for.
You only need to look at property or stocks and shares.

Which is probably why Uncle Tony has a few more bob in his piggy bank than the rest of us.

Shane Duffy will be sold when it is the best deal possible for the club, just like any asset.
We don't have a clue what may have been offered. I would guess that at the moment lots of lower than expected bids are coming in for players throughout the world.

Shush, naughty boy! The last thing we want is for Villa to improve their defence - another season of shambles is good. :wrong:

This.

I don’t want him going to a relegation candidate club like Newcastle, WBA, Fulham or Villa. He could make the difference between them surviving or going down.

Norwich, Bournemouth and Watford would all benefit from his character, would much prefer he not go to a PL club maybe we could use him as a makeweight in a deal for one of Norwich’s young guns Cantwell or Lewis or their young striker who came on against us.

Duffy isn't dropping down into the Championship

I was hoping Duffy could play at an established Premier League club but as long as we get our valuation, it’ll probably be a good deal for all parties.
