Can't recall the last time I looked at it, it's demise long overdue.

With home delivery from internet not sure how long their business model and survive.

home delivery isnt always convenient, and returns a faff. Argos has a slick backend operation that adjusted well to online, having physical stores is a model online are going towards.

My "adult" son is distraught. It was his go to mag when younger, poor lad, certainly wasn't mine at his age!!!

I used to love the catalogue as a kid. No idea why.

I'm surprised it has survived this long to be fair.

Back to Argus - My Dad will hate that. He hates dealing with shop assistants and can't use the internet.

Looking at a book and filling in a form was the perfect shopping method for him.

Footnote -. He doesn't seem to mind the Shop Assistants at the Horse Shoe Bar in Uddinston though

I used t write my Christmas lists from the argos catalogue and fill out the little slips for santa.

It didnt work to be honest, I dont think he wanted kids to know how much he spent maybe

I used to do similar, then often got a note from Santa telling me they had sold out so hope i like what he did get me...
