Maupay earns half of Wilson and is twice the player.
So not really the going rate.
Just the going rate for lazy clubs with no scouting network, no yoof structure and positive attributes to sell to a player.

But Wilson is a proven premiership goal scorer and England international.
Your paying for proven ability. Yes Maupay came off but there was always a risk factor.
I think he would be a good signing although agree we shouldn’t pay through the nose.

He's only got into double figures once, 14 goals the season before last.
The rest have been between 5 and 8.
He's missed 2 half seasons with ligament damage.
He played all but 1 game last season scoring 8 (eight) goals.
You're paying for media hype not proven ability.

Personally rate josh king as the better of the 2 strikers there. Don’t think we will be in the market for either though. Have West Ham palace ect wages and fees all over the pair of them.

I think callum wilson would kill it in the premiership, but if he has aspirations to continue his England career, he'd be better off trying to find a premier league club.
