I don't think Ronnie was wrong in what he was saying, but I think what he forgets is just how good he is. He's an extraordinary talent. Mark Williams was a lot more balanced yesterday, name dropping some of the promising younger players but also mentioning that you have established brilliance in other sports too. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have been waiting for serious competition for 10 years and it hasn't happened because they're extraordinary talents. Ronaldo and Messi have been a long way clear of the likes of Neymar on the second tier of football brilliance. Mbappe is probably the best footballer to come along since Messi and Ronaldo but they've been the clear top 2 without any question for almost 15 years which is amazing.
