TEAM NEWS

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has said he is unlikely to blood any youngsters against Brighton despite a number of injury absentees.

Ashley Barnes, Ben Mee, Matt Lowton, Jack Cork and Charlie Taylor are all unavailable.

Brighton, who secured their Premier League safety with a 0-0 draw against Newcastle on Monday, have no fresh injury concerns.

Jose Izquierdo and Steven Alzate remain sidelined.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Steven Wyeth: If Burnley break a recent habit of losing their final game of the season, they will set a new club Premier League points record.

A Nick Pope clean sheet contributing to that milestone would guarantee him at least a share of the Golden Glove. That award has only previously been won by goalkeepers at Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.

The season's culmination is not without objectives for Brighton. Victory secures their best Premier League tally of 41 points, potentially good enough to match the 15th place finish of their first campaign back in the top flight two years ago.

Reckon I'll be flicking between the relegation games to be honest. Don't think I've ever been less interested in an Albion game... Great to not be involved in the final day scrap though!

As the relegation games are across Sky and BT I’m hoping they’ve got an agreed
Met where they are allowed to broadcast each other’s goals as they go in

Will be a snoozefest.

A history of draws, us not winning on final day of season for nearly a decade, neither side anything to play for...I fear you may be right! Never mind last on MOTD, they might even forget about this fixture!

On paper there’s a chance MOTD will just show the new shirt and not the match

Ooo, have we a new shirt reveal?! I bet it will be awful, a blue and white 90s vomit most likely if current trends are to be believed. Hope not. Stay classy Albion. Keep it simple.

All of the appointed officials for this game will now be fully aware of their place in the pecking order. And thoroughly deserved for Moss. Shocking ref.
