He's 21 but born after 1st January 1999 so doesn't count towards the 25 this season.

It would be good for him, but both Welbeck and Connolly have been too prone to pick up injuries. I wouldn't want to be left with just one striker (however GP and DA want to classify the likes of Trossard and Jahanbakhsh).
Ultimately, for me, it would depend on when Andone is expected to get on the pitch, and how confident they are in the continuing fitness of Connolly and, especially, Welbeck.

Ryan, Izquierdo, Andone, Jahanbakhsh must be the favourites to depart permanently, with likely initial loan deals.

Loans with a view to an eventual recall: Sanders.

Welbeck and the club will have the second half of the season to decide between them whether he signs a new contract to play for Brighton next season.

Izquierdo won't go anywhere. He has between now and the end of the season to prove his fitness, get on the pitch and show he's worth a new contract with us or at least tempt another club into offering him one.

As it stands he's made 17 first team appearances in 3 seasons and they all came in the 18-19 season. I was buoyed by the pictures of him training with the first team squad in the build up to the Newport game but the fact he still isn't figuring for the U23's makes me think he's still got a long way to go. I fear his career at the top level is over, which is a shame as he was a great player in that first season for us and is clearly a well liked individual.

Agree entirely.

Those expecting to see the re-emergence of the Izquierdo from 3 years ago followed by a contract extention are likely to be disappointed, (though i'd love to be wrong). Early retirement is looking more probable as things stand.
