A curious stat is that we haven't lost away from home since 21st January when we lost to plucky old Eddie Howe's Bournemouth.

Even if we lose at Burnley that will still have been over six months.

If we avoid defeat at Burnley we could edge that towards nine months by the start of next season. When did we last go that long unbeaten away from home in terms of days/months?

Only Man Utd have gone longer (by two days) without an away defeat. Considering our away form since promotion its a remarkable sequence . Now if only we could turn a few of the drawn games into wins.

True, but 16 points away from home against 21 at home, suggests it's at home where we have under achieved more.

It sounds like a good stat, but haven’t we been in lockdown for 3 months?

For me its more that only Man Utd have gone longer since a defeat away from home. Regardless of time between the last defeat and now, its the number of games. Who really would have thought that we would have a run of 6 away games without defeat, possibly 7 by the season end.

The most curious thing..
We were unbeaten home and away throughout last summer.

Everyone was happy enough to tell us that we haven't won for x months * haven’t we been in lockdown for 3 months" so i'm happy to apply the same rules.

We are currently unbeaten away for 212 days and now we know the fixtures the MINIMUM we can go unbeaten is just over 8 months - 242 days to Newcastle away on September 19th. Incredible scenes.

Please. This is like a Portsmouth fan droning on about being FA cup holders for 6 seasons and that being some sort of record, just because it covered the WW2 years.
