Hull probably went into this game thinking - "keep it tight, try and nick one - get out of the relegation zone".

Of course, with Wigan's forthcoming points deduction this is absolutely a six-pointer.

Presumably they are keen to stay up.

That puts them 12 points off the relegation places, with a better GD than the team in the first relegation spot which is currently, er, Hull.

A neat way of dealing with the 12 point deduction they are expected to receive.....

Funny old world.

If Brighton went with the same attitude to Southampton on Thursday, who knows what we could achieve.

I just went in to have a look at how many players Hull have had sent off. Apparently it's none.

Are they playing rush goalie?
on the stream I'm watching they went through the teams at start of second half and one said in goal for hull and his co commentator laughter and said where the bloody hell was he in the first half

Good point. Someone tell Mooy I put £50 on us going down at 8-1 a few months ago. Should do the trick.

When was the last time a team scored seven goals in a half? I can’t think of any examples

Not sure but the ''Should the Keeper have saved that thread'' on their fans forum is gonna be a slightly confusing read tonight

First thing that went through my mind was, if huge sums of syndicate betting is involved in putting Wigan Into administration to ensure relegation, what lengths would those liable to pay out go to stop that happening?

I’ll put my paranoia down to Henry Weston’s Vintage cider.

Reminds me of coaching a kids side... when the 10th goal sails into your net and there is nothing you can shout that sounds plausible!!
