I nominate the guy in the US who, believing Covid was a hoax, attended a 'Covid party', caught it and died. Not many details other than he said he'd made a mistake just before he died.

I'm not sure the Darwin Award is ever awarded, errr..., humously.

His actual words were ' You know, I think I made a mistake'. Rather sad and poignant words for a 30 year old with most of his adult life lost.
