My thoughts entirely. Great film but is that the best ITV can offer? Just not bothering to even compete with the other channels
That train journey through the Balkans, very atmospheric
If you haven't read the books....read the books. In chrono order. This is a masterclass in English literature. And travelogue. And historical snapshot.

They've bought the rights to the Bond films, at great cost and now have hardly any money to show anything else.
Got to admire the commitment to appropriate headwear. Trilby when fighting helicopter. Naval officer's cap when driving speedboat. "Standards", as your C.O. might say.

Just finished watching, quality Non PC film, the gipsy girls fight a highlight with our hero getting the pair of them as a consequence.
