Nothing like each other musically :lol:

But when I first heard the former, the chorus always put me in mind of the latter.

ANY hip hop track reminds me of ALL other hip hop tracks.

ANY r&b track (since the term was hijacked from real rythym and blues) reminds me of ALL other so called r&b tracks.

Unfair I think. A particular sound is what defines a genre, surely? How else would you decscribe a piece of music as hip hop for example if it sounded nothing like....er...hip hop.


I'm not into modern r&b or hip hop myself, but to those that are, I'm sure there's massive variety to chose from within those genres.
