Due to Covid, plus having a serious underlying health condition, Michael would not have been able to visit the UK for some time. So unless this garden centre is in the US then I'm afraid it must have been a case of mistaken identity. Sorry.

It's lucky you were there. I'd have said, "Nur sery, I don't know where it is."

I hear Michael J is a keen gardener, but doesn't like to get his hands dirty.

Which garden center was this? The roses are normally in their own section, not near the Fuchsias. They would be amongst the summer flowering shrubs, probably between the Euonymous and the Gardenias. You really would have confused him.
