I like the look of that team tbf.

I think we’ll line up in a variation of 4-4-2 though. In which case I’d go with;

Mooy - Propper - Bissouma - March

Connolly - Maupay​

I think March offers more defensive cover down the left, an area I can see Liverpool targeting. I just hope Potter doesn’t stick Bis on the wing again...

Tactics - it’s not in his DNA to leave 8 sitting back in a deep block as Villa tried on Sunday. Lamptey and others will attack, under the ‘best form of defence’ mindset.

It's good that Bissouma is now first choice midfielder in everyones team. It will be a big game for him this evening trying to break up play and stopping the ball getting to their forwards.
He has been outstanding since the restart and I look forward to seeing him progress next season

I wouldn’t mind having a look at Mooy in the centre over this period, maybe not tonight but in assessing our CM options him going in there against top opposition could be a good opportunity.

I’d keep playing Connolly, again it’s about his role next season. Saying that The Mac needs some time as well...
