From the 3 clubs who you think will go down, which one player would you sign from them?

Norwich - Cantwell
Bournemouth - Callum Wilson
Villa - McGinn

That Brooks chap from Bournemouth. I like him. And for many reasons he seems to be a good fit for the Albion.

McGinn would be a good signing. Him and Bissouma would be formidable.
And he’d probably cost about what we could get for Propper.

Cantwell will get better than us, same with Brooks.

I’m not even sure I’d want Wilson as his form has fallen off a cliff in the past 18 months. but I’d take Ake If Dunk left.
I also rate NSC-pantomime villain Mings, if he can eliminate those clangers.

McGinn has recently been getting negative reviews on the Villa forum after a barn storming start to his Villa career. They certainly don't rate him as highly as they did.

I liked the attacking intent of Hernandez of Norwich. I think Cantwell maybe out of our reach financially.
Brooks or Wilson from Bournemouth will be great signings for someone, but I don't think we could afford them.

Here is my shopping list:

Norwich: Lewis
B’Muff: Brooks
Villa: McGinn
West Ham: Antonio
Watford: Sarr

However, our No.1 priority signing will not be from these teams.

None of the teams have the player we need to replace Murray long term IMHO.

More with a view for the season after next, but I think Idah would be a decent gamble. He & Connolly together with game time for us and Ireland could end up being formidable. Still very young & raw, but could be the needed bigger striker to play with a little one.

We’d still need a striker with more experience to replace Glenn in the short term though

Of any signings we do make, not sure any will come from the falling three, tbh.

Grealish from Villa will probably join our development squad. Same with Cantwell. You'd think with a salary like theirs, they could afford a decent barber between them.

West Ham: Michail Antonio (Hardworking powerful striker, proven he can do it at this level)

Watford: Ismaïla Sarr (Great potential)

Bournemouth: Callum Wilson (Also proven at this level, England International)

Aston Villa: Tyrone Mings - To clean Dunk's boots (Jack Grealish in all seriousness, for obvious reasons)

Norwich: Emi Buendia - Up there with Groß on chance creation

And we have zero chance of getting any of those !!

We need to look at the second/third best players from these teams.

Pukki would definitely be on that list. completely off form at the moment but has scored more than any of our strikers this season in a shite team and got more than maupay last season. He's relatively old so maybe we could sneak in with a 10 million bid.
