a galaxy far far away
This is a thread for those that are confident that we're safe. If you think Bournemouth and Villa are going to find Champions League form and we're going to P5 L5, best to post on a different one.

How can we best make use of these matches?

Blood our youth players ... even more than we already do?
Try to get momentum to take into next season?
Say a fond, but virtual goodbye to some fine club servants?
Try to overhaul a club above us?

I've no idea at all how one should approach a run of stress free games. I can't remember a season where the last 5 games hasn't been ass clenching, life expectancy reducing, nerve shredders.

Queens Park
1. Catching Southampton and being the top club on the south coast
2. A goal for Connolly
3. Blood some more youngsters, maybe Sanders, Cochrane, Jenks or Roberts
4. Build a plan to hit the ground running in September
5. Give Muzza and Ali J some minutes. Both important squad players and true professionals
6. Catch Palace. They have a tough run in. Why not?

Hopefully we will be mathematically safe after the city game,

If Southampton/Newcastle/Palace are still within reach, we should trya nd get as high up the table as possible.

If not we should start focussing on next season.
Whether that is resting certain players or blooding the newer ones.

I#m sure Potter will have a plan.

Get mathematically safe.

Don't play like we normally do when our future is assured: ie like we've been on the piss all week.

Would be nice to get 10 wins this season wouldn't it. Nine would equal our first two Premier league seasons. I dont think we could achieve that by playing as if we were safe already.

1. 41 points, our highest Prem total.
2. 14th place - our highest Prem finish.
3. More starts for today's starting XI - it is our best.

Our focus should be:-

- Moaning.
- Undermining the manager.
- Attempting to off load the most promising talent.
- Mocking the players not in the squad.
- Tidying away pizza boxes.
- Refuse to accept players formally called shite, actually aren't.

Hopefully the players focus will be on winning football games.

Lancing
Every position higher means more funds to the club, and the more points gained breeds more confidence within the team

Trying not to erase our GD advantage over the next 2 matches.
Wild fantasy: scraping 1 point out of the possible 6.
