The Republicans and Democrats in the US have sort of switched places over the years.

As for the two main parties over here we are already slightly moving away from the left - right axis as some of the spending promised by the Conservatives in the last General Election was very Unconservative (and it remains to be seen if it happens). People are more voting for a party that reflects their value system than economic interests and Boris Johnson got his majority by acknowledging a lot of people in the country haven't done well out of globalisation and pledging to return power to the UK. In the meantime Corbyn was perceived as not been on the same page as them (although ironically he was a reluctant supporter of the EU at best).

If a Benn like siege economy socialist ever took charge of the Labour Party and/or the Conservatives return to being the party of business then the positions could swap.

For the record I am a Labour man but had time for the Hesletines and Clarkes of this world.

You would not vote Tory ever, that is why you think that.

In 20, 50, 100 years time are you telling me people should not vote Tory because of something someone did 20, 50, 100 years ago, regardless of the merits of those leading the Tory party at the time?

you've said that you won't vote for Labour because of something that happened 20 years ago

BJ showing his vile true colours now. And no amount of 'clarification' spin will help. Smearing totally dedicated pitifully low-paid care workers to deflect blame from his government's criminal failings is about as low as it gets. Total ****

And sadly, he will get away with it as usual.

And now a 2nd one raises their head above the parapet, even after Johnson's comments on care homes yesterday.

Are some people just thick, simply uncaring or does Dominic Cummings have a couple of accounts on NSC?

I have to say, i'm just a little surprised why Is it PotG? and BigBod haven't told everyone why they are so wrong

Unless they were second accounts of regular posters (just for the laugh and that ???)

Sunak: “We will not be defined by this crisis but our response to it.”

Couldn't have put it better. I await the day. Although most have already made up their own minds about the buffoon and his team of incapables.

Watching the football Watford Gap?

It wouldn't have been that you were too stupid to realise it was a public poll before you voted and now you have had it pointed out and can't give any reasonable explanation for why you voted 'superb', you have just reverted to posting infantile, inane ramblings again.

It wouldn't be that, would it ?

OK, I've stopped laughing.

I would like to start by saying 'thank you' for taking the time to look at the poll details, but seriously! My poll votes are my personal views, I did not really expect to be victimised by someone desperate enough to check who voted thus and then take them to task over it.

Checking the results of any poll on here, then following them up would indeed be, as you state, somewhat infantile.

Thanks for your concern though.

So you really believe that Johnson and his Government have been 'superb' throughout this pandemic, but just can't find the words to explain why, or would rather keep your reasons for thinking this secret.

And if anyone on a discussion forum asks you why you think they have been 'superb' they are 'victimising you'.

I really do think that if you had left it at my first assumption, that you didn't understand it was a public poll, it would have reflected better on you. Now I really am trying to help here, just chuck me the spade :lolol:

I'm not going to victimise you, however I would be intrigued what you believe would have had to have happened for you to give a score even of "average", never mind "poor"?

After all, while your views are personally held most rational people can explain their reasoning for such views.

Interesting the way none of the NSC's in house Brexit headbangers crew have voted in this poll, even they have abstained and can't publicly endorse 65,000 deaths

I'm wondering whether blacks, women, the working class, ethnic minorities, different sexualities have been structurally victimised, or is it just restricted to those that think Johnson has been superb in the CV19?

Since there's no way of knowing how they handled it in comparison to how anyone else would have handled it and people get very butthurt from anyone having a different opinion than "very poor" when there is really no way of knowing... pretty simple vote.

Initially I was going to vote " Poor" because for the first few days of the July vote he hadn't really mishandled anything and that " very poor " would have been a tad unfair...… I had a think and voted " Very Poor " as I knew that something would be handled very poorly and, lo and behold... Johnson blamed the care workers and then had to try to backtrack then sent out the usual low grade ministers to bluff and deny what their boss said and had insinuated !

I think its a fair bet that every month something like this will happen as Johnson, just spouts off without a script or an agenda and always puts his foot in it.
