Not seen this mentioned on here, next season the Premier League will be using a new ridged ball.

Guessing the thinking is a bit like the dimples on a golf ball.

Wasn't there a ball at a recent international tournament that was criticised for being too round? It made it fly around all over the place like one of those plastic balls you had as a kid.

I assume the £22.95 one is the replica ball and the £119.95 is the official match ball that the PL will be using.
